Sweet Valley Baby Animals is a family-run mobile petting farm based in the Hunter Valley. We bring friendly, hand-raised farm animals to birthday parties, schools, childcare centres, OOSH programs, aged care facilities, weddings, markets, community events, and photoshoots across NSW.

We are passionate about creating safe, hands-on experiences that connect people with animals. Our animals are handled daily, raised with care, and selected for their calm and friendly nature. We focus on animal welfare, guest safety, and creating memorable experiences for everyone involved.

We regularly bring lambs and sheep, goats and kid goats, piglets, calves, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and chickens, ducks, and ducklings. Animal availability may vary throughout the year.

Yes. Our animals are carefully selected and handled daily to ensure they are calm, gentle, and comfortable around people. We also provide a safety introduction at the beginning of each visit.

Yes. We are fully insured and licensed, and all staff hold current Working With Children Checks.

We regularly service Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast, and Sydney surrounds.

We offer a range of packages to suit different events. Pricing varies depending on the package, duration, location, and number of animals required.

Travel is included within our standard service area. Events outside this area may incur a travel fee depending on location and travel time.

We regularly travel throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast, and surrounding areas.

A booking is secured once your deposit has been paid and your booking confirmation has been issued.

We accept bank transfer (preferred), credit and debit cards, and cash by prior arrangement.

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to transfer your booking to another available date where possible.

Animal welfare is our highest priority. We can often operate in light rain if suitable undercover space is available. In severe weather, we will discuss alternative arrangements.

Please provide a suitable setup space, easy vehicle access, parking for our van, and access to fresh water. We’ll take care of the rest.

Absolutely! Depending on the package selected, guests may have opportunities to cuddle, brush, hold, hand-feed, and bottle-feed some of our animals.
